Did you know that out Children and Young People’s service has a project called CHAT? CHAT stands for Changing Attitudes Together and is funded by Children In Need. It supports children and young people in Swansea who may be struggling with their behaviour after experiencing domestic abuse. Not only does it provide 1:1 support, but they also get up to lots of fun stuff such as arts and crafts, trips and unforgettable outdoor activities that they may never have had a go at before.
During lockdown, CHAT received a booster grant from Children In Need which allowed them to buy e-tablets for their children and young people. This means that they can now always keep in contact with their support network and have access to support online, which is essential during these tough times.
We would like to say a great big thank you to Children In Need on behalf of SWA and our service users for making this possible!
