Why should I make a Will?
As you decide who gets specific items, property or money, a Will is important if you have children or anyone who depends on you, ensuring that they have the right access and help. A Will is peace of mind to ensure that your wishes are secured.
Swansea Women’s Aid has partnered up with several Swansea-based solicitors as part of its ‘Free Wills’ campaign, allowing you to have a basic Will written free of charge. We would be grateful if you would then make a voluntary donation to Swansea Women’s Aid, which would contribute to us being able to provide support to vulnerable women and children.
The team of experienced solicitors will guide individuals through the process of creating a basic Will, ensuring that the best decisions are made for them and their families.

Our volunteers play a big part in supporting our projects and critical services for vulnerable women in Swansea. To assist volunteers, we provide training, supervision, 1-to-1 support and ask for their input and feedback into our services.

Would you like a hands-on role where you can help support vulnerable adults in the local community?
The SWAN Project runs from 7pm–10:30pm, Monday–Thursday. Volunteers will also work alongside other local agencies to assist in delivering our city centre evening outreach support.

Following this, you will be invited for a short online interview and, if successful, you will attend a training day to prepare you for the role.

Swansea Women’s Aid are recruiting volunteers to support our Co-Production centre. The co-production centre is run by survivors, for survivors: it aims to empower survivors to shape and influence the range of workshops, classes, and training opportunities offered to service users at Swansea Women’s Aid. Drawing on lived experience, volunteers play a vital role in co-designing meaningful and responsive programmes that support women navigating challenging circumstances, ensuring services are relevant, accessible, and grounded in real needs.
