These posts are funded to 31st March 2026 with a view to extending, subject to funding.
Location – Swansea
Swansea Women’s Aid offers dynamic, innovative services to women and children experiencing violence against women, domestic abuse and sexual violence (VAWDASV).
Key responsibilities of the role:
- To support development and delivery of the Domestic Abuse Information, Support and
Empowerment (DAISE) Family Support project, responding to the emotional and practical needs of women and children accessing SWA projects, working within the SWA
framework.
- To assist and facilitate women using the service to make informed decisions and positive
changes to their lives, to minimise risk of homelessness and enhance their future.
- To use the self-help principle to encourage independence and empower the service user
to succeed on all levels.
All SWA Workers are expected to participate in the 24-hour on call provision on a rota basis
