After a successful first year in 2025, violence against women charities in Wales are teaming up once more! A Mile a Day in May is a collaboration between Swansea Women’s Aid (SWA) and our sister charities working to end violence against women and girls in Wales.

Choose to walk, wheel, run, cycle, swim or even hop your way through the challenge for SWA or for the participating charity of your choice. A Mile a Day in May, your own way.

Why take part?

Domestic abuse, sexual violence, deep fake imagery, pornography, childhood abuse, sexual harassment... It’s everywhere, it’s constant, and it’s getting worse.

Together, our collective ability to stand up and make change is strengthened.

We need your support more than ever. Please support SWA and take part in this challenge. No-one should face any form of violence against women, and we need strong and sustainable services to have any chance of making it stop.

As a thank you for taking part and fundraising for SWA, you will also receive:

  • Support from our team every step of the way.
  • Access to our challenge resources including a toolkit, donation form and mile tracker.
  • Top tips to help maximise your fundraising.
  • An invitation to join our challenge Facebook group.
