On International Women’s Day, we affirm something simple and powerful —

every woman deserves to feel safe, informed and supported.

Today we share something created across South Wales

— for women who may need help when life feels unsafe.

Launched on International Women’s Day, these Domestic Abuse Information Booklets reflect a shared commitment across South Wales to women’s safety, dignity and freedom.

Led by Soroptimist International Wales South and created in partnership with specialist domestic abuse services, survivor voices and community organisations, these booklets, in English and Welsh, provide clear, practical guidance, options and sources of support for women experiencing abuse — whether they are seeking help or planning to leave safely.

We are proud to share this vital resource, developed to ensure that women have access to trusted information when they may need it most.

Every woman has the right to feel safe, informed and supported.
