The SWAN Project supports women who are or are at risk of sexual exploitation. We provide practical and emotional support, with the aim of improving the safety and wellbeing of women. We offer 1:1 appointments, outreach and crisis support through day time and evening services; delivered by a combination of Swansea Women’s Aid staff and volunteers. 

How can I refer someone to SWAN?

The project accepts self-referrals or agency referrals. Self referrals can be made by calling 01792 644683 or emailing swan@swanseawa.org.uk Agency referrals need to be made via completion of the SWAN project referral form.

The Children and Young People’s Service (CHYPS) supports 5-17 year olds who have experienced domestic abuse.

Making a referral:

Please contact Swansea Women’s Aid on 01792 644683 or swa@swanseawa.org.uk to discuss referring a child to the CHYPS project. 

The DAISE project supports women who are experiencing or who have previously experienced domestic abuse. Support workers have specialist knowledge on issues relating to domestic abuse and how it can affect the lives of women and children and are able to provide confidential, emotional and or practical support. 

Making a referral:

To refer yourself for support, please call the office number on 01792 644683. A member of staff will speak to you and help you to find an appointment that is suitable for you.
If you are a professional making a referral on behalf of a woman who has consented to support, please contact us to ask for a referral form swa@swanseawa.org.uk.
